Samsung galaxy flex concept!

So as some of you know, i work on a lot of different concepts. 

When it comes to concept i sometimes make designs that are "new" in a way with the current development 

in it. 

Like the Samsung smartwatch phone idea. But also this concept. 

Now i know this concept has bin online for some time and i happy about what people think about it!

The comments go from the most elegant to the most beautiful concept seen! Now that makes me proud of what i am doing and makes me work more and more on concepts. 

However. In the articals most of the time it was not explained correct about what the idea was. 

And i wanne make a clear blog about this!

Design: 

So to start of with the design. Well it is pretty clear that the phone can be folded in the middel. 

And it has a display outside. The outside display if for people to control there incomming calls, messages but also there music. Now offcourse you can open your phone and then control your music. But i found it handy to work it out this way because it allows for a bit more easy control but also powersaving. 

next is the size of it and i mean how thin it is. Pretty easy to explain this one... My bad... haha. In basic i did not really think about it at the time! It was the start of creating something different then normal and i just forgot to think really about how thick the phone had to be. In my eyes. The plastic screen allows for it to just have that, where a normal screen needs a light source on the back. 

Therefore i created a very thin phone. But i kinda over did it and made it to thin. 

Techincal ideas:

Well in this people said a flex battery. This is not what i had in mind. I thought about having a longer battery on 1 side. (on the other side of the screen). And because of the plastic screen it should save battery life. There fore the battery does not have to be as big as the normal phones. 

How does the fold work? Well i had to move the main button in the middel to the right side where you normally have the on/off button to make this work. The on/off button is moved to the top. 

this allows you to still have a main button to go back to the home screen. 

So the fold work like this. When the phone is open there is nothing really going on. But when you fold in. In the middel there are 2 plastic bars behind the screen then move. Allowing for the screen to go in that hole. Because a display cannot be folded 180 degrees. It has some roundness to it.  Therefore something has to open behind it. 

So that is in basic the idea i had with the Samsung galaxy flex phone.

'LG G3 to get a octa core and QHD screen'

LG is at the moment working on the follow up for there LG G2. The phone with the new button layout is at the moment at the beginning stages. But offcourse with that the rumours are there, and the question what will happen with the phone.
According to the latest rumours the LG G3 is looking to put in a Octa-core processor. Something Samsung has bin using for some time now.
But that is not all.
LG wants to put a QHD screen on it also. With the size of the phone it would make sence. And there it could really help to push it to a better quality.

But also the camera would get a update. This update will be to a 16 megapixel shooter. And that is something more phone brands are working on, like Samsung and Sony.

Offcourse these are just rumours and we would have to wait and see what will be true or not.
But for now the specs that are given are something to look out for!

'Samsung to release sports accessory in 2014'

Samsung is about to release a sports accessory in february of 2014.
This allows you to see your heart rate, airpressure, tempature and humidity.
Next to that it will also have a step counter like you have now on the latest phones.
the band could connect with he phone true bleutooth.

in a patent it also shows that it will be supported when you are driving your bike.

it would be nice if Samsung puts this in there gear.
To think of it. Who knows. Maybe this Samsung galaxy band is a gear? (smartwatch)

So what do you think about this? It s a pretty good market to get in to i think.

Vivo Xplay 3S first phone with a QHD display!

Just a moment ago Vivo showed the newest phone, this phone is the latest and the best they have to offer now and it is the first phone with a QHD display meaning a resolution of 2560x1440
now that is a pretty impressive feed!

The specs are pretty nice! and it is nice to see it being showed now. Offcourse it is not as known as Samsung or Iphone but it seems to be a pretty good device!

The specs are:

13 Megapixel back
- 5 megapixel front
Qualcome snapdragon 800 2.3 GHZ
- Adreno 320 GPU
3Gb ram
32GB memory
3.200 mAh battery

So pretty impressive.

HTC M8 (HTC one 2?) latest rumours.











We all know that HTC is working on a new device. The code name at the moment is M8. But the official name is not known. Offcourse it would make sence to call it HTC one 2. or just HTC Two?

Design:

So what can we see in terms of design? Well it kinda depends. HTC one was praised for its look.
How it feels in the hand and the speakers that sounded amazing.
We can see is released pictures that in basic it looks the same.
However the released pictures could just be someone showing an HTC one with a different color.
But if we go with the pictures we see that it looks pretty much the same as the HTC one.

Tech:

With tech I mean new features. Or things that are at least different from the HTC one.
According to rumours the HTC M8 will have fingerprint scanner just like the HTC one max and Iphone 5s. But if it will have that it will not be at the back if we look at the pictures. So the question would be where it would be placed.

Off course there are also rumours about the camera. Yes the camera did preform great in low light but when it came to resolution it failed pretty bad, because it could not capture the same detail as a higher Megapixel camera. So according to rumours the HTC M8 will have a 10.8 Ultrapixel. Meaning that it will have a way better quality then the HTC one.

Speakers. Well there could be bad news in that. According to some rumours the contract of HTC with boomsounds is at its end, and there would not be a new contract. So could this mean that HTC losses there good sound? Well that is something we have to wait for

Wifi is also something that is showing up. the HTC m8 would have a new type of wifi connection on the phone. Allowing for a 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwich and it has bin show that the HTC M8 has the 802.11ac certified. Meaning that it would be the first Smartphone with this. And that can be up to 300Mbit/s download so that is pretty impressive!

Specs:

Well the specs are something hard to say what it would be. there is a new Snapdragon processor and that one is a bit faster than the Snapdragon 800. The new one is the snapdragon 805. This runs at a speed of 2,5Ghz instead of 2,3.

But i think the HTC m8 will be released with the snapdragon 800.
also according to rumours the HTC one will have 3gb of ram.
and that is something that is needed to not fall behind.


So what do you guys hope for?

Samsung Patents a dual-screen display Smartphone!

Samsung has placed a patent for a dual screen smartphone.

This smartphone would have just 2 screen wich you can fold and then have a screen on bolth sides or join them togheter by folding it out. With that you get a "bigger" screen.

Offcourse the question is if you want something like this seeying how it would have a small line between the 2 screens.
Offcourse we known that most Patents won't be used and are just to have when they might think this would be a good thing to use.

Also this idea has bin used before in a other phone and it was a big failure. And honestly i don't see any future in a device like this
