Samsung galaxy flex concept!

So as some of you know, i work on a lot of different concepts. 

When it comes to concept i sometimes make designs that are "new" in a way with the current development 

in it. 

Like the Samsung smartwatch phone idea. But also this concept. 

Now i know this concept has bin online for some time and i happy about what people think about it!

The comments go from the most elegant to the most beautiful concept seen! Now that makes me proud of what i am doing and makes me work more and more on concepts. 

However. In the articals most of the time it was not explained correct about what the idea was. 

And i wanne make a clear blog about this!

Design: 

So to start of with the design. Well it is pretty clear that the phone can be folded in the middel. 

And it has a display outside. The outside display if for people to control there incomming calls, messages but also there music. Now offcourse you can open your phone and then control your music. But i found it handy to work it out this way because it allows for a bit more easy control but also powersaving. 

next is the size of it and i mean how thin it is. Pretty easy to explain this one... My bad... haha. In basic i did not really think about it at the time! It was the start of creating something different then normal and i just forgot to think really about how thick the phone had to be. In my eyes. The plastic screen allows for it to just have that, where a normal screen needs a light source on the back. 

Therefore i created a very thin phone. But i kinda over did it and made it to thin. 

Techincal ideas:

Well in this people said a flex battery. This is not what i had in mind. I thought about having a longer battery on 1 side. (on the other side of the screen). And because of the plastic screen it should save battery life. There fore the battery does not have to be as big as the normal phones. 

How does the fold work? Well i had to move the main button in the middel to the right side where you normally have the on/off button to make this work. The on/off button is moved to the top. 

this allows you to still have a main button to go back to the home screen. 

So the fold work like this. When the phone is open there is nothing really going on. But when you fold in. In the middel there are 2 plastic bars behind the screen then move. Allowing for the screen to go in that hole. Because a display cannot be folded 180 degrees. It has some roundness to it.  Therefore something has to open behind it. 

So that is in basic the idea i had with the Samsung galaxy flex phone.

'LG G3 to get a octa core and QHD screen'

LG is at the moment working on the follow up for there LG G2. The phone with the new button layout is at the moment at the beginning stages. But offcourse with that the rumours are there, and the question what will happen with the phone.
According to the latest rumours the LG G3 is looking to put in a Octa-core processor. Something Samsung has bin using for some time now.
But that is not all.
LG wants to put a QHD screen on it also. With the size of the phone it would make sence. And there it could really help to push it to a better quality.

But also the camera would get a update. This update will be to a 16 megapixel shooter. And that is something more phone brands are working on, like Samsung and Sony.

Offcourse these are just rumours and we would have to wait and see what will be true or not.
But for now the specs that are given are something to look out for!

'Samsung to release sports accessory in 2014'

Samsung is about to release a sports accessory in february of 2014.
This allows you to see your heart rate, airpressure, tempature and humidity.
Next to that it will also have a step counter like you have now on the latest phones.
the band could connect with he phone true bleutooth.

in a patent it also shows that it will be supported when you are driving your bike.

it would be nice if Samsung puts this in there gear.
To think of it. Who knows. Maybe this Samsung galaxy band is a gear? (smartwatch)

So what do you think about this? It s a pretty good market to get in to i think.

Vivo Xplay 3S first phone with a QHD display!

Just a moment ago Vivo showed the newest phone, this phone is the latest and the best they have to offer now and it is the first phone with a QHD display meaning a resolution of 2560x1440
now that is a pretty impressive feed!

The specs are pretty nice! and it is nice to see it being showed now. Offcourse it is not as known as Samsung or Iphone but it seems to be a pretty good device!

The specs are:
6" display
- 2560x1440 (490 PPI)
13 Megapixel back
- 5 megapixel front
Qualcome snapdragon 800 2.3 GHZ
- Adreno 320 GPU
3Gb ram
32GB memory
3.200 mAh battery

So pretty impressive.

HTC M8 (HTC one 2?) latest rumours.











We all know that HTC is working on a new device. The code name at the moment is M8. But the official name is not known. Offcourse it would make sence to call it HTC one 2. or just HTC Two?

Design:

So what can we see in terms of design? Well it kinda depends. HTC one was praised for its look.
How it feels in the hand and the speakers that sounded amazing.
We can see is released pictures that in basic it looks the same.
However the released pictures could just be someone showing an HTC one with a different color.
But if we go with the pictures we see that it looks pretty much the same as the HTC one.

Tech:

With tech I mean new features. Or things that are at least different from the HTC one.
According to rumours the HTC M8 will have fingerprint scanner just like the HTC one max and Iphone 5s. But if it will have that it will not be at the back if we look at the pictures. So the question would be where it would be placed.

Off course there are also rumours about the camera. Yes the camera did preform great in low light but when it came to resolution it failed pretty bad, because it could not capture the same detail as a higher Megapixel camera. So according to rumours the HTC M8 will have a 10.8 Ultrapixel. Meaning that it will have a way better quality then the HTC one.

Speakers. Well there could be bad news in that. According to some rumours the contract of HTC with boomsounds is at its end, and there would not be a new contract. So could this mean that HTC losses there good sound? Well that is something we have to wait for

Wifi is also something that is showing up. the HTC m8 would have a new type of wifi connection on the phone. Allowing for a 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwich and it has bin show that the HTC M8 has the 802.11ac certified. Meaning that it would be the first Smartphone with this. And that can be up to 300Mbit/s download so that is pretty impressive!

Specs:

Well the specs are something hard to say what it would be. there is a new Snapdragon processor and that one is a bit faster than the Snapdragon 800. The new one is the snapdragon 805. This runs at a speed of 2,5Ghz instead of 2,3.

But i think the HTC m8 will be released with the snapdragon 800.
also according to rumours the HTC one will have 3gb of ram.
and that is something that is needed to not fall behind.


So what do you guys hope for?

Samsung Patents a dual-screen display Smartphone!

Samsung has placed a patent for a dual screen smartphone.

This smartphone would have just 2 screen wich you can fold and then have a screen on bolth sides or join them togheter by folding it out. With that you get a "bigger" screen.

Offcourse the question is if you want something like this seeying how it would have a small line between the 2 screens.
Offcourse we known that most Patents won't be used and are just to have when they might think this would be a good thing to use.

Also this idea has bin used before in a other phone and it was a big failure. And honestly i don't see any future in a device like this

Samsung galaxy s5 rumours so far

The time that the Samsung galaxy s5 will be released is getting closer and closer.
While there is no date know about when it will be released or even show there are a lot of rumours about the next flagship of Samsung.
The rumours are mostly based on things Samsung orders in other company's to make. Like metal parts and so on.
But also based on things people wanne see and samsung is also working on that is know by samsung itself.
In this i wanne put some rumours togheter. And at the end put realistic specs on the phone itself.

Screen:

We know that samsung is working on a screen that has a PPI of 586
now there is a easy way to see what that would mean in terms of size.
And we get really close to the 586 PPI when you put a 5"screen on it.
So with that it would suggest that it would have a 5"screen if this screen is for the S5.

Offcourse there is also something going on with a flex screen. According to rumours the Samsung galaxy s5 would be released with a flex screen and a normal screen.

And seeying some benchmark test results we see more phones. in the SM-G900 in that we see a code with F behind it and with that a lower resulotion then the other. What i was thinking about after this is that it could be that this is the Flex screen Samsung is working on.

And what plays part here is the differents in the resolution. Where the others have a resolution of 2560x1440 (QHD) the SM-G900F had a 1920x1080 (FHD) screen.
We see with the LG G flex the resolution is different from the LG G2 while the phone is based on that one.
So maybe the screen cannot support the resolution of QHD

Design:

Off course a lot of people wonder what Samsung would do with the design of the Samsung galaxy s5.
Some rumours are about it being made in metal and will have a uni body. Meaning you cannot open the back and the plastic will be gone in total.
Some suggest that it will have a metal/alliminium body for the flex and a normal plastic for the normal one.

But we can also look at the note 3 to think what Samsung would do with the design because they stepped away from the normal "just make it bigger" look.
The putted a fake leather texture on the back that feels and looks way better and made the Note 3 look really classy.

But we can also look at the Samsung galaxy J and the Samsung galaxy active. We see on bolth of does devices you can still remove the backcover with parts being metal/allimium.
So what i think that will happen is:

Alliminium front and sides. And the fake leather texture on the back that is made out of plastic and still possible to be removed and therefore you can still open the back wich is one of the great things of the Samsung devices.

Processor:

Funny enough you don't really see a lot of rumours about its processor.
People just don't know. 1 reason for that is that 1 version wil have Samsungs own processor and that will not be made public to know before it is shown.
And 1 version will have a snapdragon. And then it is pretty easy to see what Samsung would use for there latest flagship.
So in basic we should see the latest Exynos core on there and the latest Snapdragon. For the snapdragon that would so far mean the Snapdragon 805 with 2,5 Ghz. and andreno 420 GPU

Camera:

Off course the camera is one important part on the Samsung phones.
There are plenty of rumours about what it would have and if it will have OIS or not.
Samsung is working on 2 camera's 1 of it is in 16 megapixel and one is a 20 megapixel.
So that is just known. And one of does will go to the Samsung galaxy s5.
But the question is would it have OIS?

Well it seems that Samsung has some problems with making the OIS on the 16 megapixel.
But seeying how Samsung Mobile and Samsung camera joined forces i do think Samsung will fix the problem before it's release. Therefore i think Samsung will have a 16 megapixel camera with OIS on it.

The 20 megapixel will probelly be on the Samsung galaxy note 4.

So in basic the phone would be in my eyes:

-5" Super amoled 2560x1440 display-32 GB memory
-3GB ram (depends on release date the 4GB would be possible if it is around june)
-Snapdragon 805 2.5 quad core
-Adreno 420 GPU
-16 megapixel camera with OIS (120fps slow motion)(4k resolution in video recoding) 2.3 Megapixel front
-Alliminium front and sides (with special coating . Fake leather texture back that can be removed



The flex phone i think won't happen as a international release and maybe just a release in Asia. Seeying how it would not make any sence to release 2 S5 version worldwide.

So what do you think the Samsung galaxy s5 will have?

Samsung galaxy note pro 12.2" specs?

The samsung galaxy note Pro tablet that had a big as screen of 12.2" specs seemed to be spotted online.
The specs are ok. But not something really impressive.
Seeying how the specs are almost the same as the Samsung galaxy note 10.1"
The specs are:

12.2" screen
-2560x1600

Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
-2.3Ghz quad core

Ram:
-2GB

Memory:
-32GB internal memory

Camera:
-8 Megapixel rear
-2 megapixel front

Battery:
-9.500 mAh

Android:
-4.4




So the specs are something that go with the current specs you would exspect.

But we do have to wonder if a 12.2" screen size in a tablet is something people would buy, because in a test most soled tablet have a screensize of 7/8" so we really have to wonder what group Samsung is focusing this tablet on.

There is a change it would be for people who wanne watch movies when they are travelling.
The battery seems big enough to make that work very well.
But with the screen resolution it would use more battery.

I also wonder why they would go for the 2GB ram instead of 3GB or more. Because the note 10.1 has 3GB of ram. For all the funstions a Note is used for.

In a laptop or desktop it is normal. But a tablet should be easy to handle and a 12.2" is off course harder to handle then a "normal" size.

Real racing 3 game review!

Real racing 3 is an android and IOS game. 

This game is a hi quality game from EA.

The game works in a way different way compared to normal racegames, but we will get in that later. 

Grafischs:

Like i said the game looks amazing. It does not really matter how you look at it. Everytime i play the game i am suprised that i am playing a game on my phone that looks better then most games! And that is on an Phone!

That is just not normal how they can make this game looks so great! You even see the shifting of gears when you drive in cockpit view!

Gameplay:

The gameplay of this game is pretty nice. You can select different ways how you wanne steer and what settings you wanne have on or off. Allowing for either more control or less self control about how you drive. 

If you are a beginner you can put all the help on. This will allow you to get more of a feeling how you should drive. Or when you are known with racing you can put all the help off allowing for more control, but also more chance for making mistakes. 

The driving feels ok. But you still feel the care has more grip sometimes when it should not even have it. And the other way around and that is a bit of a shame. 

But mostly the game is losing points on the races itself. It is a very nice idea that you can connect with your friends when you are driving and then challenge them by beating there time. Or "beating" them in a race. However this is not lifetime racing. The game takes real players who play the game, but you are not driving them directly. So it is a different type of AI. And that creates a problem. When you wanne overtake a car on the straight and you pass it, it WILL hit you on the back. It just drives in the back of your car. 

So in that way it seems to know you are there. But when you wanne overtake in a corner or you overtake on the outside line of a corner and there is a wall the car will hit you and it will push you against the wall. This is a real shame and it loses big points because of this.

Model Damage:

The game off course comes with damage to. But unlike some they could just "say" you have damage. But in game you do get damage when you do something wrong. It is very nice to see because you also have to repair this all. However to repair your car is very cheap. But it takes some time to repair the more exspensive cars. Some mid cars like the audi TT take more then a hour to repair. And people who cannot wait use coins to repair you car then. This removes the time. But with this people do think about buying more of does coins. Wich will cost you real money. And because of that is loses 1 point.

Updates:

This game deserves a lot of credits for the updates!

The game is releasing updates pretty fast and this is really nice to see because you will get new cars with this. 

But also different changes. Like looks or the way you repair your car. Just things like that. It is very nice to see something like this going on. And the game has come a long way from where they started. And they only made it better!

So all and all the game is great! It makes some mistakes here and there that can be very frustrating. But i do keep playing the game so they are doing something good!

New mid-range HTC. HTC Desire 400

HTC is a company we don't really hear mutch about when it comes to releases. Even more so when it comes to releases of the mid-range phones. 

But after the HTC one, HTC does seem to get more attention because the HTC was seen as a good phone. 

With this comes infromation about a new phone of HTC wich will be a mid-range phone. The mid-range phones has just ok specs and is just more for everyday use. But not for the best pictures or great games. Wich you could never really exspect. 

The specs are as followed:

• 4.3 inch display 800x480p
• 5/8 MP (ultrapixel) camera achter
• 1-1.2 GHz dual / quad-core Snapdragon 200 CPU
• 1GB RAM
• 4GB intern geheugen met uitbreiding microSD mogelijk
• 1.800 mAh accu

Unlike the HTC one max the HTC desire 400 does feature beats audio, wich is a great thing because you would have great sound comming out of this device!

Samsung galaxy note 3 Battery problems?

Hi guys today i wanne talk about the Samsung galaxy note 3 and it's problems with the battery.
It seems that some people are effected by this. And the phone cannot stay on for a long time. The battery is acting like it is like 2 years old.

Now myself the first time i used my Note 3 i was so impressed by its battery life!
But it seems that i am being hit with the problem of the battery to.
Where before i could do about 1.5 days on 1 battery it seems now it can last about 6/7 hours. And that is with avarge use.

I do not have that the battery is getting bigger, but this problem might start later.
So what is your take on this?
Do you guys have this problem to if you have a note 3?
Or does everything work as smooth as it should?
